Mark Zuckerberg Wedding: Priscilla Chan’s Wedding Dress Was $4,700

While some couples would spare no expense on their special day, that wasn’t the case for Mark Zuckerberg and his longtime girlfriend Priscilla Chan — even if he is a billionaire.




The couple tied the knot over the weekend in the backyard of their Palo Alto home in a very intimiate ceremony — and while more than 1 million people have ‘liked’ Mark’s new ‘married’ status on Facebook, under 100 guests were present forthe special day. In fact, those in attendance didn’t know about the wedding — guests thought they were attending a surprise party celebrating Priscilla’s graduation from medical school. Guess the surprise was on them. The bride opted for a$4,700 gown by designer Claire Pettibone .

The ivory ‘Sky Between the Branches’ frock features a floral sequin-overlay, sheerback and 3-4 foot train. The couple spent four months planning their specialday, where guests feasted on a family-style meal from the newlyweds’ fave restaurants: Palo Alto Sol and Fuki Sushi. Mark and Priscilla kept it super personal, opting for chocolate mice from Burdick Chocolate for dessert — the treat was what the two ate on their first date. The couple dated nine years before tying the knot in front of less than 100 guests.. Congrats to them. Nigerians should learn from this!
