Huddersfield vs Tottenham
 Venue: John Smith's stadium
 Time: 12:30pm

Huddersfield’s fairytale start to their first ever Premier League campaign has, rather predictably, come to an early end. Last time out they played out a goalless draw away to Burnley to make it five competitive games without a win for the hosts, with their last one coming in the League Cup against Rotherham. They have managed to pick up points against Leicester, Burnley, and Southampton in this period, but Tottenham pose a much bigger threat. This is by far the biggest test The Terriers have faced so far this season, and judging by their recent performances you wouldn’t hold out much hope for them. They have failed to score in four of their last five competitive games too. Tottenham may still be struggling at Wembley in the Premier League, but away from home they look a fantastic team and with Harry Kane firing again it’s hard to see Huddersfield stopping them on Saturday. Midweek saw Spurs beat APOEL 3-0 away from home, following on from their 3-2 win against West Ham last weekend to make it five wins and two draws since their last defeat. That came at home to Chelsea, and both of their recent draws also occurred at Wembley. Away from home they have won all four of their competitive games and scored an impressive 11 goals in the process. Prediction. As far as the overall result goes it’s hard to look beyond Tottenham. They haven’t struggled to break teams down even away from home, and with three of their four away days this season seeing at least three goals backing a Tottenham Win and Over 2.5 Goals at looks a good choice.

Bournemouth vs Leicester
 Venue: Vitality Stadium
 Time:3pm

There were high hopes for Bournemouth at the start of this season thanks to an excellent showing last term. They opened with a dreadful run of four consecutive league defeats and only scored one goal in the process, but a 2-1 win over Brighton earlier in September got some points on the board and they looked a significantly improved side despite their 2-1 defeat at Goodison Park last weekend. Bournemouth remain in the drop zone though, but with their recent improved performances they will feel confident of kickstarting their season soon and Eddie How will be happy that last year’s star performer Josh King got himself off the mark last weekend. The Norwegian midfielder turned attacker stepped in for the perennially injured Callum Wilson last year and ended up netting 16 league goals in total, and despite the acquisition of Jermain Defoe, King continues to be employed in an attacking role just behind the veteran poacher. Leicester endured a predictable fall from grace last season as they unsuccessfully defended their Premier League title, although they did end up being the last British club left in the Champions League. This season has started a bit more brightly, especially with the pressure off their shoulders a bit now. Last weekend they lost a 3-2 thriller at home to Liverpool, although they did manage to beat their visitors earlier in the week in the League Cup. Apart from that they have beaten Brighton in the Premier League and lost to Arsenal, Manchester United, and Chelsea in a very difficult opening run of fixtures. One thing that has been ever present is their attacking threat. The Foxes have scored nine league goals despite losing four of their six matches, although they have conceded 12 times at the other end. This has resulted in four of their six matches seeing three or more goals, and with each of Bournemouth’s last four going the same way you wouldn’t rule out the same happening on Saturday. Prediction. We can’t see either team keeping a clean sheet, especially as they have just one clean sheet between them all season. Both Teams to Score a good choice.

Manchester United vs Crystal Palace
 Venue: Old Trafford
Time: 3pm

Manchester United’s fantastic start to the new season continued in midweek as they thrashed CSKA Moscow 4-1 away from home, with that man Romelu Lukaku bagging another two goals to take his tally to ten goals in nine competitive appearances for his new club. That win makes it five wins on the bounce for Manchester United, and that 2-2 draw away to Stoke remains their only slip up of the season apart from their UEFA Super Cup loss. Since the Premier League season began they have won eight and drawn one of their nine games. This is terrible news for the travelling Crystal Palace fans, who have so far seen their team fall at every hurdle in the Premier League. Last weekend they were battered 5-0 away to Manchester City and their chances in their second trip to Manchester aren’t much better. That defeat makes it six losses from six in the Premier League, and to make matters even worse they have failed to score a single goal in the league so far. This puts them rock bottom of the table with zero points and a hefty -13 goal difference. Roy Hodgson has an awful lot of work to do if he wants to save the club from relegation.

Prediction.  Manchester United have won by three or more goals in seven of their last nine games in all competitions. Home win over 2.5 looks sure.

Stoke vs Southampton
 Venue: Bet365  Stadium
Time: 3pm

Stoke have had a very difficult start to the new Premier League season, with a lengthy injury list and a few really tough games making it a start not to be envied. Despite the tough conditions they have generally fared pretty well though. The season began with an expected narrow defeat away to Everton, but they followed it with a much less expected 1-0 win against Arsenal and then picked up points away to West Brom and at home against the rampant Manchester United. Unfortunately The Potters couldn’t continue in this vein, losing league matches against Newcastle and Chelsea either side of a League Cup exit last week. Southampton haven’t been quite so satisfied with their start, despite it being quite a bit easier than their opponents. They started with a drab goalless draw against Swansea to cement the St Mary’s faithful’s doubts over their attacking capabilities. These fears were allayed briefly in a 3-2 win against West Ham, but since then they have managed just one goal in five matches in all competitions. This came in a 1-0 win over a drastically out of form Crystal Palace side, but matches against Wolves, Huddersfield, Watford, and Manchester United have seen The Saints make little to no impact going forward. Prediction. We are not expecting a high scoring game. we are going for stoke win or draw.

WestBrom vs Watford
Venue: Hawthorns
Time: 3pm

West Brom looked as if they were starting a promising season back in August when they began the new Premier League campaign with 1-0 wins against Bournemouth and Burnley before comfortably passing Accrington Stanley in the League Cup, but since then things have fallen apart for them. A 1-1 draw at Stoke was their first disappointment, and it’s been followed by a 3-1 loss to Brighton, a goalless draw with West Ham, and back to back defeats against Manchester City and Arsenal to leave them without a win this month. In fairness to The Baggies, they have had a couple of tough fixtures in Manchester City and Arsenal, but their previous failures were entirely their own doing and Tony Pulis will know that improvement is required if they are to build on last season’s successes. Watford are certainly building on last season, although new boss Marco Silva is in the process of rectifying mistakes rather than improving a strong squad. The Hornets were very nearly relegated last season, but they look far from relegation candidates under Silva’s tutelage. Last weekend saw them recover very well from their 6-0 thumping at home to Manchester City to beat Swansea 2-1, a 90th minute winner from new signing Richarlison is to thank for those points. This made it three wins, two draws, and one defeat in their six league games so far, putting them up in 6th position in the table. Prediction. A Watford Win or Draw Double Chance look incredibly good value. We do think Watford have what it takes to win it.

WestHam vs Swansea
Venue: London Stadium
 Time:3pm

A lot of West Ham fans thought they were in for a resurgent season after last year’s disappointments, but so far there is little sign of them showing the performances they had hoped for. Last time out they lost 3-2 at home to Tottenham, and although new striker Javier Hernandez’ 3rd league goal for the club was a silver lining he’s going to need some support from his teammates if The Hammers are to put in a good showing this season. The hosts have now won one, drawn one, and lost four of their six league games so far this season, failing to score in three of those matches and shipping a disappointing 13 at the other end. Swansea were touted as pre-season relegation candidates, and the loss of star players Gylfi Sigurdsson and Fernando Llorente did not help their chances. They have re-signed Wilfried Bony and brought in Tammy Abraham and Renato Sanches on loan, but while they are very promising acquisitions they will need time to gel into the squad. It was Abraham who got their goal last weekend at home to Watford, but in the end it didn’t make a difference as they walked away 2-1 losers to the in form Hornets. That takes their record to one win, two draws, and three defeats in their six Premier League outings so far. Prediction. All things considered this is looking like a rather dull affair for the neutrals. Under 2.5 looks certain.

 Chelsea vs Manchester City
 Venue: Stamford Bridge. Time: 5:30pm

Chelsea pulled one out of the bag in midweek as they visited Champions League specialists Atletico Madrid, with many fans fully expecting them to drop at least two points against the Spaniards. Michy Batshuayi scored a hero’s goal in the 94th minute to win the match 2-1 though, with Chelsea becoming the first English club to ever beat Atletico Madrid away from home in Europe. This followed on from their thrashing of Stoke last weekend, a game which saw Alvaro Morata score a hat-trick, to take his tally to seven goals in seven appearances for his new club, six of which have come in the Premier League. Manchester City have their own star striker in Sergio Aguero. Aguero is a doubt for this game following a car accident he had in Netherlands. Aguero has scored ten goals in his 15 appearances against Chelsea. It goes without saying that we’re not expecting any clean sheets here, and it’s easy to see why. Manchester City beat Shakhtar Donetsk in midweek to make it seven wins on the bounce for them in all competitions. In the Premier League they have scored a huge 21 goals in just six games, but have conceded in two of their four away days. Prediction. Considering the attacking prowess of both teams, backing both teams to score at looks hugely valuable.

Everton vs Burnley
 Venue: Goodison Park
Time:1:30pm Sunday

Everton picked up a much needed win last weekend as they beat the out of form Bournemouth 2-1 at Goodison Park, following on from their League Cup success against the recently relegated Sunderland. This followed on from a very tough start to the season, but despite the fact that they had to face Manchester United, Spurs, Chelsea, and Manchester City in their opening five league games The Toffees will still have been disappointed in their lack of competitiveness in these matches. Everton looked a decent side as they beat Stoke and drew with Manchester City in the opening two gameweeks, but four defeats on the bounce in all competitions saw them score none and concede 12 at the other end. They will be hoping their recent wins can get them back on track now though. Burnley will not be an easy side to face though. The Clarets were torrid away from home last season and were only saved by their excellent performances at Turf Moor, but this season they put those away troubles to bed straight away with a stunning 3-2 win at Stamford Bridge. Unfortunately for them they did follow this with a 1-0 defeat at home to West Brom, but that remains their only defeat of the season in all competitions, barring a penalty loss to Leeds in the League Cup. They haven’t had an easy run either, but have managed to pick up a point away to both Spurs and Liverpool. Prediction Everton win or draw double chance.

 Newcastle vs Liverpool Venue:
St. James park
Time:  4pm Sunday.

Newcastle’s return to the Premier League undoubtedly started in poor fashion as they lost their opening two matches without so much as posing a threat to Tottenham or Huddersfield. They opened their account with a 3-0 win over West Ham at the end of August, and since then have beaten both Swansea and Stoke in the league before losing to Brighton. This puts The Magpies in a more than respectable 10th position in the table, and more importantly will have boosted their confidence enormously. Liverpool’s confidence, on the other hand, will be on the decline at the moment. They faltered for the second time in the Champions League in midweek as they failed to beat Spartak Moscow away from home, leaving them with a poor return of two points from their two group games so far. Last weekend they did manage a 3-2 win away to Leicester, but they have still only won one of their last six in all competitions and they have clear problems at both ends of the pitch. Attacking wise they create a huge amount of chances, but they are far too inefficient in finishing those chances off. Both of those clean sheets came at Anfield, and they haven’t kept the opposition at bay since the end of August. Away from home they have failed to keep a single clean sheet in any competition this season. Considering Newcastle have scored in three of their four home games this season it looks unlikely that Jurgen Klopp will see his team pick up a clean sheet on Sunday. Prediction. Liverpool have only failed to find the net twice this season though, whilst Newcastle have conceded in five of their seven competitive outings. This makes Both Teams to Score look attractive.
